MEET RACHEL

I’m Rachel Frey, an interior designer based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, specializing in full-service home renovations, kitchen and bathroom design, and thoughtfully furnished interiors. I work with busy homeowners to create spaces that feel finished, functional, and easy to live in.

Being born and raised in Lancaster County, I have always carried a deep passion for design and the ability to transform ordinary houses into personalized and well-designed homes. Despite my early interest in design, I initially chose a different career path and obtained a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of South Carolina.

For several years, I worked as a home health physical therapist in South Carolina before my husband, Pat, made a career change that brought us to Manhattan. Even during that time, my interest in interior design never wavered. I found inspiration in the colonial architecture of South Carolina and the old-world charm of homes, restaurants, and shops throughout New York City.

Three years later, we returned home to Lancaster to start a family, and I finally pursued my long-standing passion for interior design. That decision led to the creation of Rachel Frey Interiors.

As a busy mother of two young daughters, I understand the importance of a home that supports everyday life. My background as a home health physical therapist shaped my approach to design, not just focusing on how a space looks, but how it functions day to day.

Today, I specialize in full-service interior design for renovations, new builds, and furnishings throughout Lancaster County and surrounding areas. I guide each project from initial planning through final installation, helping clients avoid costly mistakes, streamline decisions, and create a home that feels finished, functions beautifully, and finally feels like you.
