MEET RACHEL

Being born and raised in Lancaster county, I have always carried a deep passion for design and the ability to transform ordinary houses into personalized and stunning homes. Despite my dreams, I initially chose a more stable career path and obtained a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of South Carolina. For several years, I pursued a career as a home health physical therapist in South Carolina until my husband, Pat, decided to make a career change that led us to Manhattan.

Even during my time as a physical therapist, my love for design never wavered. I found inspiration in the colonial architecture of South Carolina and the old-world charm exhibited in the homes, restaurants, and shops of New York City. Three years later, my husband and I made the decision to leave the bustling city lights behind and return home to Lancaster to start a family.

After years of yearning to pursue my true passion as an interior designer, I received an answer to my prayers. A new opportunity presented itself, allowing me to leave my career as a physical therapist and embark on a new adventure. Thus, Rachel Frey Interiors, LLC came to fruition.

My core belief is in creating personalized spaces that are tailored to each client's unique style. As a busy mother of two young daughters, I understand the significance of organization, time-management, and the investment made in a family's home. My experience as a home health physical therapist has taught me not only the desire for a beautiful home but, more importantly, the importance of its proper functionality for day-to-day life. My mission is to shape and transform interiors into spaces that my clients truly adore and are proud to call their own.
